Job summary

ETS Consulting is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for their Stoke-on-Trent site. The role focuses on preventative maintenance within a high-speed, automated manufacturing environment, with responsibility for fault finding, and supporting both team and autonomous work efforts.

The successful candidate will have completed an apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering, with experience in PLC systems and automated machinery.

Qualifications

• Full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with planned and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Experience in high-speed automated environments and PLC-controlled equipment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Fault find on a variety of production equipment.
• Work in a team or autonomously as required.
• Progression and ongoing training opportunities within the group.

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: £48,000 - £50,000 + Pension + Healthcare

Continental Shifts – 4 on 4 off Days and Nights

Based within one of the UK's leading FMCG manufacturing groups my client is looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer to add to their existing team. The company is extremely secure having been established for over 200 years and currently being listed the London Stock Exchange, they are second to none in their chosen area of manufacturing expertise.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Automated of PLC systems & Automated machinery
• Understanding of PPM Systems

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment.

The ideal candidate will also ideally, but not essential, have experience of PLC controlled equipment and the ability to work within a team or autonomously as required.You will also have a strong multi-skilled background with the ability to fault find on a variety of production equipment.Longer term opportunities are also available within this instantly recognisable group to progress your career, as there will be a chance to push yourself with on going training and development.
