Job summary

Nestlé Tutbury Factory in Derbyshire is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join the Industrial Services team. This permanent role reports to the Industrial Services Manager and offers a 37.5-hour week (Mon-Fri) with a salary of around £53,000 depending on experience.

You will drive asset maintenance strategy to reduce unplanned stops and costs, supporting projects and new technologies. Benefits include a discretionary annual bonus and a generous pension, plus extensive development

Qualifications

• Educated to a minimum of HNC and NVQ level 3/City & Guilds or equivalent or a relevant BEng degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Both Electrical or Mechanical Bias will also be considered.
• Experience with industrial boilers and effluent treatment plants is advantageous.
• BOAS accreditation is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive plant reliability and deliver fixed cost reductions.
• Coordinate and implement the department maintenance strategy.
• Analyse breakdowns with a root-cause mindset and implement follow-up actions.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice standards for plant, tools and environment.
• Support the wider IS team with utilities including effluent and water treatment, boilers, refrigeration systems and wastewater treatment.
