Job summary

Nestlé Tutbury Factory in Staffordshire is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team on a permanent basis, reporting to the Manufacturing Asset Maintenance Manager. You will maintain and develop equipment and systems to safeguard production output, quality and cost effectiveness.

The role requires experience in a manufacturing environment, NVQ3/City & Guilds, and multi-skilled abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment with engineering knowledge.
• Qualified to NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Multi-skilled with experience on plant equipment such as clarifiers, pumps and valves.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Engineering and Shift Management Teams.
• Lead breakdown maintenance and problem solving during breakdowns.
• Drive breakdown analysis to improve asset intensity.
• Complete planned/scheduled maintenance in line with KPIs.
• Support AMM strategy by improving maintenance plans.
