Pioneer Selection Ltd is representing a leading manufacturer seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer in Suffolk. The role offers a salary of £45,000 - £54,000, with Panama days shift (2's and 3's) and opportunities to contribute to production efficiency.

You will perform reactive and planned maintenance on automated machinery, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and work in a fast-paced environment that values continuous improvement and staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong electrical or multi-skilled engineering background.
• Ability to fault find on electrical and/or mechanical systems.
• Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance (PPM).
• Fault finding on motors, conveyors, sensors, and control systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Experience working on fast-paced production machinery.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across automated machinery.
• Fault find on electrical and/or mechanical systems and components.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Maintain production efficiency and minimize downtime.
