Job summary

CV Technical is seeking a Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on 70% mechanical and 30% electrical maintenance across production equipment, including injection and blow moulding machinery.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance to keep equipment safe, reliable and available. Offering a £51,000 base salary plus overtime, the position operates a 4-on/4-off Panama shift pattern with opportunities for career progression

Qualifications

Strong mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing environments.
Good understanding of electrical maintenance and fault finding.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent minimum.
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is beneficial.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Planned and reactive maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
Mechanical fault finding, repair and preventative maintenance.
Working with chains, belts and bearings; maintenance of pumps, valves and hydraulic systems; pneumatic systems and conveyors.
Maintenance and fault finding on injection moulding machines and blow moulding machines.
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults; supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
