Job summary

FM Conway is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Aggregate and Asphalt division and play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our asphalt manufacturing plants. As our Maintenance Engineer you will perform a multi-skilled role, carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance, supporting plant operations, and contributing to continuous improvement and future project work.

Joining ahead of the plant opening in 2027, you will initially work across our existing Southeast

Qualifications

Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within a process/manufacturing environment.
Level 3 engineering qualification and 18th Edition wiring regulations.
Strong problem solver with good communication skills and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance to maximise plant uptime.
Diagnose faults, complete repairs, installations and breakdown response.
Ensure health and safety procedures including permit to work and LOTOTO.
Support maintenance systems with CMMS updates and technical documentation.
Assist with engineering projects from planning through to commissioning.
Supervise and coordinate contractors and maintenance activities as required.
Provide out-of-hours support and mentor apprentices and team members.
