Job summary

FM Conway is recruiting a Plant Supervisor for the Aggregate and Asphalt division, based at the Heathrow asphalt plant. The role includes operating the asphalt plant, mobile plant, and weighbridge, while coordinating shifts and supervising the site.

You will need experience with asphalt plant manufacturing operating systems, sound HSE knowledge, and the ability to lead a team with a strong customer focus and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience with asphalt plant manufacturing operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety rules and legislation.
• Experience operating loading shovels, telehandlers and weighbridges.
• Customer focus, attention to detail, and ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate the operational team to achieve quality and efficiency.
• Manage stock levels of fuel, constituent and raw materials.
• Ensure mixing plans are carried out in a cost-effective manner.
• Report critical issues in a timely and accurate manner.
• Generate task-specific risk assessments and safe working practices.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors in line with health, safety and environmental policies.
