FM Conway is seeking a Plant Fitter to join our Aggregate and Asphalt division and help ensure the reliability and efficiency of our asphalt manufacturing plants. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, support plant operations, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Joining ahead of our eighth site in Wellingborough, you will work across existing Southeast sites during training, then lead from day one at the new plant.

Formación

• Experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within a process/manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures and safe isolation.
• Level 3 engineering qualification and 18th Edition wiring regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance to maximise plant uptime.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs, installations, and breakdown response.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures, including permit to work and LOTOTO.
• Supporting maintenance systems, including CMMS updates and technical documentation.
• Assisting with engineering projects from planning through to commissioning.
• Supervising and coordinating contractors and maintenance activities where required.
• Providing out-of-hours support and mentoring apprentices and team members.
