Nicholas Associates is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for our Wadebridge site in Cornwall. The role centers on preventative maintenance of bespoke production machinery, in a small two-person team, with Monday–Friday days and a Friday midday finish.

Apprentice-trained in electrical engineering with 18th edition is preferred. Knowledge of single and three-phase power up to 415V, ability to read drawings, and basic CAD skills are advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• Apprentice-trained in electrical engineering or a very similar field.
• Electrical knowledge with 18th edition preferred.
• Experience with single and three-phase power up to 415V is essential.
• Experience with preventative maintenance procedures is preferred.
• Willingness to be flexible and work closely with a colleague.

Aufgaben

• Maintain bespoke production machinery and perform preventative maintenance.
• Work with a two-person maintenance team and support colleagues.
• Read engineering drawings and produce basic CAD drawings.
• Fabricate replacement parts in-house using milling, turning, and welding.
• Identify and fix faults to minimise downtime.
