A Maintenance Engineer specialising in plumbing and heating to manage and maintain these services and systems at our offices in Stoke-on-Trent and other sites within the property portfolio.

You will be experienced working in a variety of large commercial and residential buildings, working as part of a small team. The successful applicant will demonstrate a can do attitude.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience

NVQ level 3 certificate in Mechanical Engineering Services Plumbing.
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Domestic Plumbing and Heating (Gas Fired Water & Central Heating Appliances) 600/1134/8 (6189-33).
CENWAT Certification and CCN 1 (Domestic) Gas Safe Certificate.
Knowledge of LEV systems is beneficial.
DNCO1 – Domestic to Commercial Natural Gas.
Certified in Unvented Heating systems.
Experience in troubleshooting installations, fault finding, and repairs.
Awareness of risk assessment and working safely with electronic test equipment.
Ability to follow work instructions, read and interpret technical diagrams whilst reporting technical information as required.
Possession of a full UK driving licence is essential.

Main Responsibilities

Carrying out maintenance routines.
Diagnosing and repairing faults on a wide variety of plant including Water Heaters, Calorifiers, Motors, Circulating Heating pumps, Vented & Unvented Systems, Boilers, fans, drives, ground and air source heating systems. Additional responsibilities for Water temperature monitoring
Ensuring all Health and Safety obligations are met and coordinated with the project delivery team.
Ensuring sites are maintained in a clean manner at all times.
Producing, managing and maintaining critical spares lists.
