Job summary

Aliaxis is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to support maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of manufacturing plant in a fast-paced environment. You’ll diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and maximise equipment reliability while following safety standards.

The role requires strong mechanical maintenance experience, basic electrical fault-finding, and ability to read drawings; hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps and rotating equipment

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing with basic electrical fault-finding.
• Knowledge of machinery safety, guarding and safe working practices.
• Able to interpret technical drawings, diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps and rotating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs and implement preventative maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement and root-cause analysis to boost reliability.
• Contribute to major maintenance shutdowns and engineering projects.
