Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer in Tewkesbury for a full-time, permanent role. The successful candidate will maintain production equipment, reduce downtime and support site-wide improvement initiatives, working with production teams to ensure reliability, efficiency and safety.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance, with experience in a manufacturing environment, and a proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environments with planned preventative maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and control faults.
• Skilled in fault-finding and repair of production equipment.
• Proactive in continuous improvement and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance on production machinery and site equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Support installation, commissioning and validation of new machinery.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Monitor machinery performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Liaise with contractors and service providers when required.
