Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a well-established manufacturing business in the UK. The role focuses on keeping production lines running, performing both mechanical and electrical maintenance on automation equipment to minimise downtime.

You will work a strict two-shift pattern with 6:30am-4:30pm and 10:00am-7:00pm shifts (42 hours per week), with overtime available at 1/4. A 1-in-3 call-out rota applies.

Qualifications

Are you a Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing, industrial or ex-forces background, looking to join a stable company, that will look after you and value your work, offering plenty of overtime to boost your earnings and a flexible, days based, 2 shift pattern?

In this role you will be responsible for keeping production lines operational, with the overall maintenance of automation machinery. This will involve both mechanical and electrical maintenance on motors, gearboxes, conveyors and baggers in a 2-shift rotation. There is a call out rota 1 in 3 weeks.

This company has been operational for over 40 years, specialising in the production of ice and cooling equipment. They supply into a wide range of industries, mainly hospitality, and pride themselves on their high quality of work.

This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer with mechanical and electrical experience looking for a flexible 2-shift role, with plenty of overtime.

The Role:
