Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment are partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Crawley to recruit a Maintenance Engineer (Double Days). The role offers 45,000 - 50,000 plus 60K OTE, overtime and tailored training on electrical maintenance and hydraulics, with a Monday to Friday double day pattern.

You will service and maintain automation and manufacturing machinery, fault finding on motors, gearboxes, conveyors and baggers.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Mechanical maintenance with electrical awareness is desirable.

Are you a Maintenance Engineer from a mechanical background, looking for a stable and secure role in a well-established and thriving company, offering a flexible double day's shift pattern and excellent tailored training on electrical maintenance and hydraulics?

In this role you will be responsible for keeping production lines operational, with the overall maintenance of automation machinery. This will involve both mechanical and electrical maintenance on motors, gearboxes, conveyors and baggers in a 2-shift rotation. There is a call out rota 1 in 3 weeks, paid at t during the day and a 30 night allowance.

This company has been operational for over 40 years, specialising in the production of ice and cooling equipment. They supply into a wide range of industries, mainly hospitality, and pride themselves on their high quality of work.

This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer from a mechanical background looking for a flexible double day's role, with plenty of overtime and training to make you a Multi-Skilled Engineer.

The Role:

• Maintenance of automation and manufacturing machinery
• Fault finding and maintaining gearboxes, motors, conveyors and baggers
