Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Ex-Forces) for a global manufacturing business based in Ripley. The role offers a £53,000 salary, training, a performance bonus, overtime, and 34 days holiday as part of a comprehensive package.

You will maintain automation and metal manufacturing machinery, with responsibilities spanning mechanical and electrical maintenance on motors, gearboxes, sensors and PLCs. Rotating three-shift pattern applies.

Qualifications

• Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical and electrical maintenance background.
• Experience with automation equipment and PLCs is advantageous.
• Ex-forces background preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain automation and manufacturing machinery to minimize downtime.
• Fault finding and maintenance of gearboxes, motors, sensors, panels and PLCs.

Are you a Maintenance Engineer from a mechanical background looking to join a globally recognised business offering a performance-based bonus and the opportunity to work on state-of-the‑art equipment and machinery?

In this role you will be responsible for keeping production lines operational, with the overall maintenance of automation and metal manufacturing machinery. This will involve both mechanical and electrical maintenance on motors, gearboxes, sensors and control panels on a 3-shift rotation.

This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer from an Ex-Forces background looking to join a global business who will look after them for years to come.

The Role:

• Maintenance of automation and manufacturing machinery
• Fault finding and maintaining gearboxes, motors, sensors, panels and PLCs
• 3 shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am, rotating weekly
