Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd has a new Maintenance Engineer vacancy in Plymouth, England. The role involves carrying out PPMs, dealing with site breakdowns, fault finding and promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement in a first-class manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be time served as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of 2 years’ experience; apprentice training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Time served as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• Apprentice training is preferred.
• Strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPMs.
• Dealing with all breakdowns on site, minimising downtime.
• Fault finding on machinery to identify issues.
• Maintain high H&S standards and promote a positive culture.
• Support continuous improvement and influence processes.
• Work with and install single/three-phase motors.
• Be flexible with working hours.
