Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy manufacturing site in Stevenage. You will join a collaborative engineering team to support day-to-day maintenance, both planned and reactive, of site machinery, combining electrical and mechanical work with a focus on reliability and safety.

The role involves responding to breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding capability.
• Experience in the UK manufacturing sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns and perform planned preventative maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.
• Maintain electrical and mechanical systems and participate in fault analysis.

MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Title - Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location - Stevenage
Salary: £52,000
Shift: 12 hours

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
A superb opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive and collaborative engineering team within a busy manufacturing site. The Multi Skilled Engineer will join a team of engineers to support the day to day planned and reactive maintenance programme. The company prides itself on a positive working culture where teamwork and mutual respect are at the centre of daily operations.

You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience with working on PLC’s, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
