Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for our Inverness site. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, respond to breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical/mechanical fault-finding, reading electrical drawings, and a qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering. A strong track record in UK manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on site machinery.
• Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime.

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive and collaborative engineering team within a busy manufacturing site. The company prides itself on a positive working culture where teamwork and mutual respect are at the centre of daily operations.

You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.
• Experienced Maintenance Engineer with exposure to both Mechanical and Electrical faults

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Able to read Electrical drawings

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience with working on PLC’s, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
