Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a Slough-based site. The role starts on days, transitioning to a days & nights pattern after 4–5 months, with a £45,000–£50,000 salary and strong training opportunities.

You will join a skilled engineering team responsible for reliability, planned and reactive maintenance, and minimising downtime across the site. This is a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment with long-term career progression.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment with reliable machinery.
• Strong fault-finding skills in electrical and/or mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance on production equipment.
• Perform reactive maintenance and respond to machinery breakdowns promptly.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective repairs to maximise uptime.
• Support safety and efficiency of plant operations.
