Job summary

Greggs plc in Scotland's Glasgow site is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to safely maintain and improve production facilities, equipment and services on automated and semi-automated lines. You will split your time between planned maintenance, improvements and rapid breakdown fixes.

You will work with site teams to boost equipment reliability, ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety standards, and bring multi-skilled electrical know-how, PLC fault-finding, and CMMS/SAP experience.

Qualifications

You should have a multi-skilled manufacturing background, ideally within the food or FMCG sectors.
Be electrically biased, multi-skilled and trained to apprentice level.
Know PLC automated control systems, fault-finding and analysis.
Familiar with CMMS (or similar) and SAP; Agility experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve the performance of production facilities, equipment and services.
Perform planned maintenance and respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively.
Collaborate with site teams to monitor and improve equipment reliability.
Work with PLC controlled processes and perform fault-finding and analysis.
