Job summary

Greggs is hiring a Facilities Engineer to join a great site team and safely maintain building facilities, equipment and services through planned preventative maintenance and repairs. You will undertake plumbing or electrical work, pest proofing, and legionella compliance, while monitoring effluent systems to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The ideal candidate is NVQ Level 3 qualified in a relevant trade, with FMCG sector exposure, experience with building management systems, SAP, and CMMS.

Qualifications

• Trained to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in a relevant trade such as plumbing or electrical work.
• Experience as a Facilities Engineer in food or FMCG sectors preferred.
• Familiar with building management systems, utilities, and SHE responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain and improve building facilities, equipment and services via planned preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Carry out plumbing or electrical repairs in line with your trade.
• Pest proofing, legionella compliance and effluent system monitoring and maintenance.
• Collaborate with site team and external contractors to ensure uptime and safety.
