Job summary

Greggs Plc is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing engineering team. You will work on automated and semi-automated production lines, developing improvements and conducting planned maintenance.

You will respond to breakdowns quickly, monitor site performance and collaborate with site teams to enhance reliability and safety while upholding Health and Food Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled manufacturing background, ideally in food/FMCG sectors.
• Electrical biased, trained to apprentice level.
• Knowledge of PLC automated control systems, fault finding and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering improvements and planned maintenance activities.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with site teams to monitor performance and equipment reliability.
