Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Lichfield to join a leading FMCG manufacturer. The role focuses on both mechanical and electrical maintenance of production lines, with a 3 on/3 off shift pattern promoting work-life balance.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on food production and packing machinery, ensuring high line uptime. Daily reports and handovers with fellow engineers are part of the routine, requiring clear communication and strong technical skills.

Qualifications

• General manufacturing experience required.
• Preference for FMCG or food manufacturing backgrounds.
• Experience with conveyer belts and injection plastics advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Carry out reactionary maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Maintain line efficiency and reliability of machines in the production plant.
• Provide daily reports to management and handovers to other engineers.
