Job summary

Dunbia Treburley in Launceston is seeking a Skilled Engineer (electrical bias desired) to support site production and maintenance. The role operates on a 40-hour week, with a rotating call-out rota and premium rates for overtime.

Responsibilities include ensuring plant equipment runs smoothly, maintaining stainless steel fabrication work, and training where appropriate. Experience in the food industry and working at height are beneficial.

• Attention to detail, commitment and responsibility.
• Food industry experience is advantageous.
• Comfortable working at height.
• Proven Electrical/Mechanical knowledge and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plant equipment is operating and functioning correctly.
• Support building maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Utilise electrical/mechanical expertise to troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with production setup and machinery problems; provide training as needed.
• Complete daily maintenance check sheets and job cards.
