Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a Chester-based operation. You will fault-find, diagnose and repair industrial machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and service PLC controlled systems in a busy factory environment.

The role offers rotating shifts Mon-Fri with early and late blocks. Salary ranges from £50,000 to £55,000 with OTE £65,000. Benefits include training, progression, healthcare and death in service.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance engineer with industrial experience.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding, diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery including furnaces, casting machines, conveyors and mixers within a factory environment.
• Perform PPM to minimise breakdowns and service PLC controlled systems while adhering to company safety standards.
• Mechanical repairs including pumps, gearboxes, bearings and hydraulics.
• Work on furnaces, conveyors, casting machines, extraction systems, crushers and mixers.
• Mechanical repairs of motors, drives, gearboxes, pumps, valves and hydraulics.

Role Responsibilities
