Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) for a fast‑growing logistics employer. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical equipment and controlled temperature facilities, with full on‑the‑job training on refrigeration.

Working Monday to Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, you will have access to funded qualifications, training and progression into management, plus a generous salary band (£35,000‑£40,000) with an additional £45k

Qualifications

• Electrical background and maintenance experience.
• NVQ/HND/HNC or equivalent electrical qualification required.

Are you a Maintenance Engineer from an electrical background looking to join an industry leading business offering a role including on the job technical training and scope to progress into management roles in the future?

In this hands‑on role, you will be carrying out a wide range of planned maintenance on a variety of electrical equipment and facilities. You will be working within a tight knit maintenance team to ensure all controlled temperature facilities, along with the control panels are maintained, offering a range of day‑to‑day variety. This role will also offer full training on refrigeration through multiple funded courses with Star Refrigeration.
