Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer (Days) in Wrexham to join a global leader in logistics and temperature-controlled industries. Salary ranges from £36,000 to £44,000 along with a days shift pattern, training opportunities, pension and benefits.

You will carry out maintenance on on-site machinery, with preventative, reactive and project work, and report to the Engineering Manager on projects and health and safety matters.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical or electrical maintenance experience.
• Background in FMCG, manufacturing, warehousing or engineering.
• Knowledge of 3-phase systems, drives and motors.
• Strong health and safety practices.
• Ex-forces candidates encouraged to apply; full training provided.

The core responsibilities of this position include carrying out maintenance on site machinery and equipment, as well as reporting directly to the Engineering Manager on projects, issues and Health & Safety matters.

The successful candidate will have previous hands‑on experience in Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance Engineering, hold relevant engineering qualifications and ideally have a background in FMCG, Manufacturing, Engineering or Warehousing & Distribution.
