Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Shifts: Days (Monday - Friday)

Location: St Helens

Salary: GBP43,000 - GBP44,000

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a days-based role in a fast-paced FMCG environment? Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team in St Helens.

The Role:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to improve equipment reliability.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and industry regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the plant.

Requirements of the Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Multi-skilled/electrical background with mechanical and electrical experience required.
• Previous experience in an FMCG, food, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be Level 3 qualified minimum.
