Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for a fast-paced FMCG site in Bromborough. You will carry out electrical maintenance, fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance on automated production machinery, ensuring uptime and efficiency.

The role operates on a Monday–Friday dayshift, with opportunities for ongoing training and development within a market-leading manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Hands-on maintenance with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance on automated and semi-automated production machinery.
• Minimise downtime and support production targets on a Monday-to-Friday dayshift.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the site.

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-findining, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi-automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a demanding FMCG environment. Working on a Monday to Friday days shift pattern, you will play a key role in minimising downtime, supporting production targets, and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast paced industrial factory.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on electrical fault-finding experience on production machinery.
• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment with automated machinery.
• Knowledge of PLC fault finding (advantageous).

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage or packaging environments.
