Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong multi-skilled background with electrical and mechanical competence.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or food production environment.
• Good understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and TPM principles.
• Breathing Apparatus and Fire Fighting certification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Fault-finding across production machinery, control systems and ancillary equipment.
• Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Ensuring all engineering work is completed safely and in line with site standards.
• Contributing to a proactive, team-focused engineering culture.
