Overview

Bespak are looking for a Maintenance Engineer for the Kings Lynn site, PE30 2JJ. The salary range for this permanent onsite role is between £50k and £53k per year, plus a discretionary annual bonus. Our generous benefits package includes 28 days leave plus bank holidays, 8% company pension contribution to employees, 3% employee contribution, onsite parking and medical/dental/health and life assurance. Working Pattern - 4 on 4 off - Mon 6am to 6pm / Tue 6am to 6pm / Wed 6pm to 6am / Thu 6pm to 6am / Fri-Sun off - Start the next shift on Tue at 6am for your next 4-day pattern.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of our advanced manufacturing equipment, including cam-driven assembly systems and robotic injection moulding machines.
• Mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs; conduct root cause investigations to prevent future failures.
• Support equipment installation projects, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and provide technical advice to manufacturing teams.
• Perform duties in a modern, clean, and temperature-controlled facility with a strong health and safety culture.

Preferred skills and experience

• Experience of working in a fast-moving, manufacturing environment.
• Level 3 engineering Apprenticeship / HNC or degree (or equivalent).
• Experience with PLC, HMI, and pneumatic control systems.
• Ability to read drawings and circuit diagrams.
• Experience of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Knowledge of vision, printer or laser marking systems.

About Bespak and the role

This could suit someone who has experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician / Engineer, Electro / Mechanical, Engineering Technician, Electrical & Mechanical, or a recently qualified Engineering Level 3 / HNC Apprenticeship.

We are a pharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) that offers development and manufacturing solutions for a variety of medications, including medical devices such as pMDIs, soft mist inhalers (SMIs), dry powder inhalers (DPIs), nasal sprays and medical check valves.
