Pioneer Selection – Manufacturing & Industry Recruitment Specialists is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a high-speed FMCG site near Bristol. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, handle PPMs, breakdowns, and participate in engineering projects.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering qualification (Level 3+), with manufacturing experience and a strong electrical bias. Continental shift pattern with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification required.
• Experience carrying out PPMs and repairing breakdowns.
• Manufacturing sector experience preferred.
• Electrical bias is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance (PPMs) on plant and equipment.
• Attend to machinery breakdowns and perform repairs.
• Contribute to engineering projects and plant improvements.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £50,000 – £54,000

Location: Langford, Bristol

Shift: Rotating 12 Hour Days and Nights

A leading manufacturing client within the FMCG sector are now recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering department in a busy high-speed factory. The successful maintenance engineer is required to be multi skilled. The duties of the maintenance engineer will include carrying out PPMs, attending to breakdowns and involvement in engineering projects. Successful maintenance engineers must be qualified in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Skills required for Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Ideally electrical bias but will look at mechanical bias with strong electrical skills.
• Manufacturing Background
• Engineering Qualification – Ideally Min Level 3
• Experience carrying out PPMS and fixing Breakdowns.
