Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a high-speed FMCG site in Langford, Bristol. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, with a rotating 12-hour day/night pattern.

The ideal candidate will have an Electrical or Mechanical engineering background, be able to carry out PPMs and breakdowns, and contribute to projects and improvements in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with preventive maintenance (PPMs) and breakdowns.
• Experience in a manufacturing FMCG environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance and repair activities on a fast-moving production line.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and implement effective fixes.
• Participate in engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Langford, Bristol

Shift: Rotating 12 Hour Days and Nights

A leading manufacturing client within the FMCG sector are now recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering department in a busy high-speed factory. The successful maintenance engineer is required to be multi skilled. The duties of the maintenance engineer will include carrying out PPMs, attending to breakdowns and involvement in engineering projects. Successful maintenance engineers must be qualified in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Skills required for Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Ideally electrical bias but will look at mechanical bias with strong electrical skills.

• Engineering Qualification – Ideally Min Level 3


• Experience carrying out PPMS and fixing Breakdowns.
