Job summary

JobsTrackR is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer for a well-established industrial manufacturing site in the Wolverhampton area. You will be responsible for reactive and preventative maintenance across site machinery, diagnosing electrical faults to minimise downtime and carrying out installation improvements on production equipment.

A strong electrical bias, multi-skilling, and willingness to work a shift pattern are essential.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified with Level 3 or an equivalent certification.
• Strong electrical fault-finding abilities in a heavy industrial environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or heavy engineering settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned preventive maintenance across site machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Perform installation and improvement works on production equipment.
• Support mechanical maintenance activities when required.

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Package:
Salary: Up to £45k
Location: Wolverhampton

NO SPONSORSHIP

Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30

Overtime:

• Overtime available during planned plant shutdowns
• Alternate weekend working (typically 5-6 hours on Saturdays)
• On-call rota of 1 in 3 weeks
• Overtime rates:
  • 1.2x Monday-Friday
  • 1.5x Saturday
  • 2x Sunday

A well-established industrial manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton is looking to recruit a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team.
