Job summary

Pioneer Selection is recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Bicester to maintain heavy production machinery and plant equipment. You'll perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance, fault-find on control panels, motors, sensors, drives, and PLC systems.

You will support machine installations, electrical upgrades, and continuous improvement projects, working within a supportive engineering team and contributing to site safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience in a production environment.
• Capable of fault-finding on control panels, motors, sensors and drives.
• Experience with planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance.
• Health & Safety conscious with proactive approach.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across heavy production machinery and plant equipment.
• Fault-finding on control panels, motors, sensors, drives, contactors, relays and PLC-controlled systems.
• Support machinery installations, electrical upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
• Contribute to site-wide engineering projects and safe working practices.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Bicester

Salary: £54,000

Shift: 12hr shifts

I'm working with a well-established heavy manufacturing company looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team. You'll carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across heavy production machinery and plant equipment. This will include fault finding on control panels, motors, sensors, drives, contactors, relays and PLC-controlled systems. You'll also support machinery installations, electrical upgrades, continuous improvement work and wider engineering projects across the site.
