E3 Recruitment is recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer with a market leading listed manufacturer in the Wakefield area (Featherstone). The role includes 4 on 4 off days/nights (6am–6pm), salary £54,000, and a KPI bonus of £2,000. Training in PLCs and robotics is provided to aid career development.

Qualifications

• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent (Mechanical or Electrical).

The Maintenance Engineer vacancy is working with a market leading listed manufacturing business, based in the Wakefield area (Featherstone). The position offers excellent opportunities for both training and career development including robotics and PLC training. Taking OTE of above £60,000 ++

Main Duties & Responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer;

• Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support and repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained - maintaining factory manufacturing machinery
• Monitor & supply Engineering support of machine set-up & changeovers to ensure that the product conforms to any quality assurance standards and ensuring changeovers are as efficient as possible.

Experience and Qualifications Required for Maintenance Engineer:

• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent, e.g.NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above - Mechanical or Electrical
• High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
• Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problems.
