Job summary

Saverto is seeking a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing site in the UK. You will plan and execute preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, rotating shifts, and ensure equipment is safe, clean, and reliable.

With a minimum of 3 years’ experience, you’ll contribute to continuous improvement, manage stock and consumables, and prioritise health and safety while delivering KPI targets set by Engineering Managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
• Qualified in electrical and/or mechanical discipline (mechanical bias preferred).
• Experience with preventative maintenance of complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Effectively planning and carrying out preventative maintenance procedures within the framework, ensuring all equipment is safe to run and is cleaned to the highest possible standard.
• Equipment downtime must be kept to an absolute minimum through timely and thoughtful fault diagnosis and rectification.
• Maintain Engineering Stock Control completing regular audits, ensure all engineering tools are well maintained – correctly stored and kept clean to the highest of engineering standards.
• Manage all engineering consumables to ensure all are adequately supplied and stored in the appropriate and safe storages.
• Health and Safety will be your highest priority at all times.
• Contribute towards continuous improvement and development projects
• Responsible for delivering KPI targets set by the Operations and Engineering Managers.
• Effective up-keep and maintenance of site facilities.

Maintenance Engineer

A Multi-skilled maintenance engineer who is qualified in an electrical and/or mechanical discipline (mechanical bias would be preferred). They have experience in maintaining complex electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems. The role consists of both preventative and reactive maintenance.

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000

Shift pattern: Rotating shifts between 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm. Occasional Saturdays.

Your Tasks
