Job summary

Epwin Group operates as a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of building products. The role involves maintenance and repair of on-site plant and equipment, with 12-hour continental shifts and a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

The candidate will respond to breakdowns, carry out planned maintenance, log data in the CMMS system, and ensure high workmanship standards while prioritising safety in accordance with company rules and working practices.

Responsibilities

• Repair all faults arising on any plant or equipment on site
• Respond to breakdowns quickly and efficiently
• Prioritise breakdowns in consultation with management
• Carry out planned maintenance and installation work as required
• Ensure quality and safety of work in line with current legislation
• Log all relevant information and data in the CMMS system
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship in a continuously improving environment
• Report and order spare and critical parts as needed
• Keep workshop and stores clean, tidy and safe at all times
• Work safely and in accordance with Health and Safety Rules and Working Practices

Job description

Hours of Work:Continental days only 12 hour shifts

• In the event of multiple breakdowns consult with management in order to prioritise
• To carry out planned maintenance and installation work as and when required
• To be responsible for the quality and safety of the work that you carry out in accordance with current legislation
• To log all relevant information and data in the CMMS system
• To carry tasks out to high degree of workmanship in a environment which strives for continuous improvement
• To report and order, when needed spare and critical parts
• To keep the workshop and stores clean tidy and safe at all times
• To be responsible for your own safety by performing tasks in a safe and timely manner in accordance with Company Health and Safety Rules and Working Practices.(Health and Safety Charter of Rules)
