Job summary

A maintenance engineer role in Rushden for a food waste processing facility requiring electrical or mechanical expertise. The position is initially temporary with a path to permanent employment, offering a salary of £32,000 per annum rising to £33,000 on probation.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with potential rotating early/late shifts. Full PPE provided in a potentially odorous processing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in pump repairs and maintenance routines in a similar environment.
• Industry-related qualifications or working towards them (examples include NEBOSH, confined spaces, working at heights, PLC controls).
• Full driving license. Telehandler license preferred; training will be provided if necessary.

Overview

Maintenance Engineers - TEMP to PERM £32,000 pa rising to £33,000 on probation. My client is a food waste processing company based in Rushden. They require a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

• Maintain the plant using the most cost-effective work methodologies to achieve the highest possible uptime.
• Work within company procedures and protocols and adapt to changing circumstances.
