Job summary

Damicor Limited in Kent is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing operation. You will maintain and repair production machinery and conveyors, and perform regular preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.

The role is days only, Monday to Friday (8am–4pm), commutable from Sittingbourne, with a competitive salary up to £46,000 plus benefits and a structured training path into management.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and repairs on production machinery and conveyors.
• Carry out regular PPMs.
• Electrical engineering for single/3-phase systems, motors and inverters.
• Mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, pumps, chains and valves.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on production machinery and conveyors.
• Plan and execute regular preventive maintenance (PPMs).
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, including motors, inverters, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Assist with shifts and keep equipment in optimum condition.
