Job summary

Pioneer-Selection-Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a fast-paced FMCG site in Norfolk. The role focuses on electrical maintenance, fault-finding and preventative maintenance on automated production lines to maximise uptime.

On a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift, you will contribute to continuous improvement, support production targets and benefit from a pension, life insurance and gym access as part of a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Hands-on maintenance including pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory.
• Ability to work a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance on automated production machinery.
• Minimise downtime and support production targets in a high-volume FMCG site.
• Drive continuous improvement across the site.

Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days only)

Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer.

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-volume FMCG manufacturing site in Norfolk. You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi-automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a demanding FMCG environment.

Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, you will play a key role in minimising downtime, supporting production targets, and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast paced industrial factory.
• Ability to work a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern.

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Strong hands-on electrical fault-finding experience on production machinery.
• Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment with automated machinery.
• Knowledge of PLC fault finding (advantageous).

Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer.

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage or packaging environments.
