Pioneer Selection's client, a large blue-chip manufacturing company near Selby, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and supporting continual improvements across site machinery.

The successful candidate will have multi-skilled maintenance experience in an industrial setting, electrical engineering qualifications, and experience with PLCs.

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Title - Maintenance Engineer
Location - Selby
Salary: £53,000
Shift: 12 hour Days and Nights

Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer.

An excellent opportunity has become available for a qualified maintenance engineer to work for a large blue chip manufacturing company based near Selby. The Maintenance Engineer will benefit by working for a excellent company who take pride in supporting and developing engineers on a regulary basis. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Electrical Engineering Qualification
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the Manufacturing sector
• Experience with working on PLC's, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
