My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer to join their site on the outskirts of Glasgow. You will be working with a successful manufacturer that has ramped up their headcount and production capacity over the last 18-24 months.

The company is well established, financially stable, and has earned a reputation as an excellent employer. Their culture is results-driven with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

This role is based on a rotating shift pattern (early, back, night) - 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00 & 22:00 - 06:00.

This opportunity would be fantastic for an engineer seeking development in a new sector, an engineer moving out of the forces, or a newly qualified engineer looking for a company where they can grow both now and in the future!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Undertaking planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns
• Electrical fault finding
• Fault finding on PLC systems
• General electrical/mechanical maintenance and repair of buildings and facilities
• Working closely with the process engineering and quality engineering teams
• Supporting colleagues with project work

Qualifications and Experience:

• A time-served apprenticeship
• Experience of maintenance gained in the manufacturing sector

• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
