Job Description

Manpower Print & Packaging Division is excited to present a new opportunity for one of our prestigious Global Partners. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer (electrically biased) to join their team based in Rotherham, working a static afternoon shift from 2pm to 10pm.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on plant machinery independently, under pressure, in a deadline-driven environment.
2. Perform planned preventative maintenance and maintain accurate records in line with schedules and standards.
3. Record maintenance activities and spare part usage in the SAP system to ensure data accuracy.
4. Execute maintenance tasks according to work instructions and maintain workplace orderliness.
5. Foster positive relationships with colleagues and customers to enhance teamwork and performance.
6. Support continuous improvement through problem-solving and collaboration.
7. Conduct electrical and mechanical installations following current legislation and standards.
8. Develop and improve fault-finding processes, demonstrating skills in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems as required.

Job Specific Skills:

• Trade qualification with excellent fault-finding skills.
• Experience with PLC systems, process and equipment software, drives, motors, and the ability to interpret complex electrical schematics.
• Experience with extrusion or mailer machines is advantageous.
