Role: Maintenance Engineer (Multi Skilled Engineer or Maintenance Fitter)
Salary: £40,000-£42,000, plus Paid Overtime, Benefits and Career opportunities
Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts of days and afternoons
Location: Commutable from Kendal, Shap, Penrith, Helbeck, Garsdale, Settle, Bentham, Lancaster, Morecambe, Bowness-on-Windermere, Grasmere and surrounding areas
We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Fitter or Multi Skilled Engineer) to work within a large company at one of their successful production factories near Kendal. Maintenance Engineers get the opportunity to cover both electro-mechanical maintenance work across the factory and you are encouraged and supported to develop your weaker side, whether this be mechanical or electrical.
Your main and primary role is supporting all production machinery. This includes combating and resolving breakdowns and machinery problems. Also working through planned preventative maintenance and undertaking project work too such as new installations etc.
