Job summary

ATA Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for their site in Nuneaton. You will join an established team to maintain and improve production machinery, including robotics, cutters, conveyors and packaging lines.

The role covers planned preventive maintenance and breakdown repair in a fast-moving environment. You will work electrically and mechanically, with opportunities for training, overtime at 1.5x and a strong pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Requires a recognised engineering qualification.
• Experience in maintenance in a fast-moving environment.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Shift – 4o4o days and nights (2 days and 2 nights)

Location – Nuneaton

Salary - £59,600, Plus Bonuses, Overtime, Enhanced Pension etc

They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the established team on site offering lots of technical and professional development within the company and also external manufacturers

The role

As a Maintenance Engineer your responsibilities will include;

• Working as part of a team but also working lone when tasked to
• Working in a fast moving high paced environment
• Working on Machines including Robotics, Cutters, Palletising, Packaging machines as well as conveyors and more
• Attending PPMs and reacting to breakdowns when needed
• Working electrically on components including 3 phase motors, sensors, inverters, contactors and fault-finding following drawings
• Mechanically replacing like for like components, including Gearboxes, Motors, Shafts, Pulleys, Sprockets etc

The Candidate

As a Maintenance Engineer my client are looking for;

• A strong communicator, who is happy working alone and with a team
• Somebody who is confident working mechanically and electrically
• Somebody with a recognised engineering qualification
• Happy to pre-planned work and responding to breakdowns
