Job Responsibilities
- Execute planned and predictive maintenance to the approved job plan,scopeand standard.
- Complete inspections, lubrication, adjustment,replacementand functional testing within theallocatedwindow.
- Carry out condition monitoring and act on early warnings before functional failure.
- Confirm work quality and asset condition before safehandbackto Operations.
- Complete maintenance without compromising product safety, quality,hygieneor GMP standards.
- Follow hygienic engineering controls and hand assets back clean,completeand fit for production.
- Identifyand escape asset conditions that could affect food safety,qualityor process capability.
- Record findings and corrective actions so maintenance evidence remains audit ready.
- Work to approved risk assessments, permits, isolations and safe systems of workat all times.
- Stop and escalate work where scope, condition or controls are unsafe or unclear.
- Maintain tools, testequipmentand work areas in a safe and serviceable condition.

Required:
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship with a relevant Level 3 qualification, HNC/HND, or equivalent experience.
- Electrical, mechanical or mechatronic qualification appropriate to the site asset base.
- Relevant safety, isolation and permit competencies.
- Proven experience completing planned and predictive maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong practical fault-finding capability across mechanical, electrical and control systems relevant to the role.
- Experience with condition monitoring, failure analysis and maintenance improvement.
- Experience recording work and asset history within a CMMS.
Desirable:
- PLC skills and knowledge (fault finding and programming)
- Understanding of reliability centred maintenance
- Food Safety Level 3
- HACCP Level 3
- Condition monitoring or reliability qualification is desirable.
- Food manufacturing or another highly regulated environment is advantageous
