Job summary

Castle Employment Group is assisting a well-established leading food company in Malton to recruit a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer. The role offers a 4 on 4 off 12-hour day shift (6am-6pm) and a salary up to £51,000 per year.

You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and CMMS documentation, support rapid recovery from breakdowns, and help upgrade and install machinery as part of a proactive maintenance team.

Qualifications

• You are a time served Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of a level 3 qualification in an engineering field and relevant electrical qualifications/certificates.
• You will like to work at speed and be able to think on your feet and be a creative and diligent Maintenance Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Attending machinery breakdowns and diagnosing faults and ensuring planned and routine maintenance activities are carried out and documented on the CMMS.
• Responding to machinery breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
• Carrying out the planned maintenance schedule and implementing any machinery upgrades.
• Handling machinery installations/moves and modifications of new and older machinery.
• Thinking outside of the box and being a strong team player.

• Working across the factory attending machinery breakdowns and diagnosing faults as well as ensuring all planned and routine maintenance activities are carried out and documented on the CMMS.
• Working with production responding to machinery breakdowns ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum.
• You will be responsible for working through the planned maintenance schedule and carrying out any machinery upgrades.
• You will also be responsible for machinery installations/ moves and modifications of new and older machinery.
• Thinking outside of the box and being a really strong team player

Salary

The salary is advertised as up to £51,000
