Job summary

Zachary Daniels is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a site on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The role is electrical biased, with responsibility for repairs, maintenance, and preventative measures across plant machinery. Flexible 4 on/4 off rota may apply, including night and day shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical discipline.
• Experience with PLCs and automation systems is highly desirable.
• Experience of maintenance engineering in the manufacturing sector.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, maintenance work and routine testing to all plant machinery and equipment.
• Complete planned maintenance work orders.
• Ensure all auditable paperwork is completed and filed correctly.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to maintenance and assist in developing preventative maintenance mechanisms.
• Understand and support KPI improvements.

Maintenance Engineer
