Social Network - Maintenance Engineer

Location: Liverpool

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum DOE

Shift Pattern: 4-on, 4-off (2 days, 2 nights)

We’re seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our established engineering team. You will play a key role in ensuring the manufacturing plant operates efficiently, safely, and reliably by delivering proactive maintenance and responding swiftly to breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities

• Fault finding and breakdown repairs on site equipment including mixers, hot plates, conveyors, and flow wrappers
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and automation faults
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Support continuous improvement and engineering projects
• Monitor and enhance site KPIs such as OEE and downtime
• Promote safe working practices and engineering excellence

What We’re Looking For

• Team player with strong communication and coaching skills
• HNC or equivalent in electrical, automation, or multi-skilled engineering (preferred)
• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments
• Motivated, flexible, and passionate about continuous improvement
